WWAMI Interactive Map
WWAMI is Wyoming’s medical school—a regional partnership with the University of Washington School of Medicine. The name stands for Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho—states that share a nationally recognized MD program. Each year, 20 Wyoming residents are selected to earn their Doctor of Medicine (MD) through a four-year curriculum identical to that at all WWAMI sites. Students complete the first 18 months at the University of Wyoming, then continue clinical training across the WWAMI region.
The map below illustrates the Wyoming towns of currently enrolled students and the places where the WWAMI graduates are currently practicing as physicians. Learn more
